Rainbow Disco Club 2013

There can't be many festivals as jinxed as Rainbow Disco Club. After cancelling the event in the wake of the Tohoku disaster in 2011, organisers found themselves having to do the same thing again in 2012, when a freak rainstorm trashed the site the night before the festival was due to take place. Undeterred, they'll be returning to Harumi Port Terminal for another go this Golden Week, with DJs including Dixon, DJ Nature, Kevin Yost and Cottam supplying a soundtrack of house, disco and more out-there sounds throughout the day. After sundown, the action shifts to Shibuya, where Womb and Seco will both be hosting all-night parties, the latter of which promises to keep rolling until noon the following day. Resident Advisor oversees the Womb bash, with a live set from acclaimed techno duo Barker & Baumecker and guest DJ appearance by Hessle Audio's Ben UFO, while at Seco they've got ND_Baumecker (him again!), Open Reel Ensemble and a few secret guests.
