It's being billed as ‘the earliest summer festival in Japan’ – too bad that it happens in late March. At the very least, this outdoor festival should make up for the implausibility of its marketing pitch with some quality music. Overseas visitors include ambient techno act System 7, French producer Agoria and former Mo' Wax label boss James Lavelle, who'll be playing one of his audio/visual Unkle Sounds sets. They're complemented by a domestic contingent including scratch technicians DJ Kentaro and DJ Baku, crowd-pleasing dance veterans Denki Groove, jam band faves Dachambo and club jazz masters Soil & "Pimp" Sessions. Here's the complete lineup:
Agoria, Anthony Collins, Atom on Sphere, DJ Baku, Dachambo, Damage, Denki Groove, Dexpistols, Gildas, Kouichi Hirose, Joujouka, DJ Kentaro, Little Tempo, DJ Nobu, Shingo420, Sly Mongoose, Muraki Yusuke, Soil & "Pimp" Sessions, DJ Son, Stephane K, System 7, Takashi Takeuchi, Ryo Tsutsui, Unkle Sounds
