It's been over two decades since Chris Liebing snagged his first residency at a club near Frankfurt, though it took him a couple of years to ditch the soul and hip-hop in favor of techno. The ever-grinning DJ and producer celebrated the 10th anniversary of his CLR Recordings label in 2009, and has seen his hard-edged style of techno come back into vogue in a big way recently. Not for nothing is he one of the most regular international visitors at Takkyu Ishino's monthly Sterne party at Womb – which is where you can catch him this Golden Week.
