The Shel'tter Tokyo Opening Celebration

As voguish select shop The Shel'tter prepares to open a high-profile flagship store in the new Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku building, it's celebrating with a party at Sound Museum Vision that sidelines the more predictable fashionista-bait DJs (hello, Verbal) in favour of some wizened old pros. Disco dandy Dimitri From Paris headlines in the main room, with electroclash survivor DJ Hell spinning next door, and you can also expect appearances from the ubiquitous Takkyu Ishino, Dexpistols member DJ Maar and Bonjour Records owner Masatoshi Uemura. Oh, and live sets by J-pop singers Anna Tsuchiya and Ms. Ooja – just for good measure.
