Cocking a snook at all the bonenkai festivities taking place elsewhere around town, Unit will be diving deep into the techno wormhole on Friday night. Vault – the fruits of a collaboration between DJ Nobu's new Bitta label and Taipei's Smoke Machine crew – features a headlining DJ set from New York's Mike Parker (a longtime fave of the Mnml Ssgs blog) and a live performance from LADA, aka Lars Hemmerling and Dasha Rush. Smoke Machine resident Diskonnected and Nobu round out the lineup in the main room, while compadres Petstov and Haruka take charge in the Saloon downstairs.
