We always like seeing new clubs open in Tokyo, but are admittedly a little worried about how long this newcomer will last – after all, it's taking over a space that's been occupied by three other clubs over the past three years, with immediate predecessors Origami and Arc both folding without much fanfare before anyone really got used to them. Having started business in September, Vent is attempting to reverse the trend with a 'revolutionary' speaker system and a bold attitude to bookings – what that means in practice remains to be seen.
