Time Out says

Previously sold out and back by popular demand, stand-up comedian Atsuko Okatsuka and her iconic bowl haircut are returning to the capital for two encore shows as part of her ongoing ‘International Full Grown Tour’. The tour has taken the cheeky comedian across the globe where she's performed sold-out shows all over North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Okatsuka’s popularity has continued to grow ever since her hilarious HBO special 'The Intruder', which was named the Best Debut Special of 2022 by the New York Times. She also had a stand-up stint on 'The Late Late Show with James Corden' and was named Variety’s 10 Comics to Watch for 2022. Aside from her tour, there’ll be more to look forward to in the near future as Okatsuka is currently developing a comedy series based on her life with American television channel FX.

While Okatsuka is now based in Los Angeles, she has some deep roots in Asia as she was born to a Japanese father in Taiwan before spending her childhood in Japan. She was raised by her grandmother, who she passionately talks about, and the two together created the #DropChallenge which has garnered over a whopping 10 million views.

If you’re looking for an evening of good laughs, general sale tickets are now available for Okatsuka’s Tokyo shows on July 16 and 17. Do note that there is a mandatory drink charge at the door. For tickets, visit here.
