Tokyo Roast Battle: Tokyo vs Los Angeles

One of the capital’s hardest-hitting English-language comedy nights, the Tokyo Roast Battle sees some of the city’s top stand-up stars going head-to-head in a comically ego-crushing showdown. The March edition at Tokyo Comedy Bar pits Tokyo’s finest against visitors from across the Pacific, with LA’s own Phil Will and Alyssa Poteet bringing some SoCal heat on Saturday night. Trains vs cars? Sushi vs tacos? The weather? Expect to hear quips about all of the above and much more, and note that the Roast Battle isn’t for the faint of heart – the humour on offer is as brutal as it’s hilarious.
