Time Out says

Japan's biggest street dance bash returns to Yoyogi Park after a three year hiatus with a programme featuring performances, 'dance battles' and even a contest for high school dance teams.

The event is divided into five sectors. There’s Dance With Music, where you’ll learn simple choreography and be able to dance along to popular tunes, while the Battle Park is a place where 16 amateur and pro street dance teams compete in an ultimate dance battle. The Rainbow Stage will host a series of performances by dance studios and schools in Japan, but if you prefer something a little more competitive, you can watch the ten best high school dance teams in Japan at the SSDW contest. Take a breather at the Chill Out Space where you can relax with live musical performances, yoga and even more dance.

This year Tomo and Yori from the famous Japanese boy band Da Pump are ambassadors for Shibuya Street Dance Week and they’ll be making an appearance on stage.
