'A film festival for students, by students' - that's the concept under which the Toho Cinemas Students Film Festival was started back in 2007, and now in it's 11th year running, they're back again this year. There are multiple prizes up for grabs in categories including short film, short animation, CM and more, with the grand winner and a runner up being named in all of them. This year's focus is the search for new, even younger talent, with features by aspiring directors-cum-high school students, who seem to have produced very interesting, individual pieces year after year. There will also be a talkshow on making films hosted by the director of last year's hit film Chihayafuru, Norihiro Koizumi, and producer Kyohei Sudate.
