We've had art exhibitions, pop-up shops and even café takeovers themed entirely on cats, but this just might be the first all-feline film programme to hit Tokyo in recent memory. Asagaya's Yujiku will be rolling out a lineup of five purry flicks from mid-February, screening renowned cat snapper Mitsuaki Iwago's new World 'Cats' Travelogue, entertaining Russian adventure-drama The Little Cat (1997), animated French effort A Cat in Paris (2010), domestic drama Gu Gu the Cat (2008) and 1984 manga adaptation The Star of Cottonland (Wata no Kuni Hoshi). Check out the full programme here (in Japanese only).
