Time Out says

Sitting right in the middle of Shibuya's love hotel-infested Maruyamacho, the small Vera is the area's only traditional-style cinema. Now celebrating a decade of screening mainly Japanese classics and obscure, early pieces by great directors, the theatre puts on a special programme of 30 movies, shown in the form of 15 double bills over one month. Highlights include Fritz Lang's The Big Heat (1953), noir classic The Maltese Falcon (1941), They Drive by Night (1940) with George Raft and Humphrey Bogart, and Orson Welles's The Magnificent Ambersons (1942).
