French veteran director and cinematic multi-talent Claude Lelouch is probably best known for his entertaining but disjointed musical epic Les Uns et les Autres (1981), but the Gallic uber-lover (hey, five wives and seven kids is nothing to sneeze at) also has quite an ouvre of light romantic comedies and other flicks that rely heavily on long-time collaborator Francis Lai's music for dramatic effect.
