Honouring the Purple One – one of the many icons of rock who passed away during 2016 – with a special screening of Albert Magnoli's 1984 musical drama, Zepp DiverCity is giving Prince fans a very good reason to head over to Odaiba on February 20. The music in Purple Rain is still glorious, the Revolution still sexy and tight, the font still jagged. The film itself? Somewhat laughable – but wasn’t it back then as well? Adding to the atmosphere are a massive screen, a volume level turned up to eleven and the freedom to stand up and scream during the film.
