Time Out says

The country that gave us Bergman, Garbo and Peter Stormare (sorry) has produced quite a few notable movies over the past century, so the organisers of this September festival shouldn't have any trouble finding filling for their programme. Set to feature both classics (including Gustaf Molander's 1936 drama Intermezzo and Bergman's Autumn Sonata) and new fare previously unreleased in Japan – Anton Källrot's The Modern Project (2016), How to Stop a Wedding (2014) by Drazen Kuljanin and Amanda Adolfsson's debut piece Young Sophie Bell (2015), to name a few – the Swedish Film Festival is already looking rather tasty. Look out for full programme details to be announced on the official website.

Note that all films will be shown with Japanese subtitles only.
