The annual Tokyo International Film Festival is taking place from October 27 to November 5, and features over 100 Japanese and international films from veteran directors and newcomers alike, plus a number of talks and Q&A sessions to mix things up.
The event takes place in just over a dozen venues within the Hibiya-Yurakucho-Marunouchi-Ginza area. This year's themes include women's empowerment, Japanese classics, animation, youth-centred narratives and more. To see the full list of films, visit the offical website.
