We guess it was about time Shibuya got a women-only capsule hotel. Opened in spring 2016, the Nadeshiko Hotel turns the concept on its head by excluding men altogether, decorating the hallways with ukiyo-e replicas and offering a nice and spacious bathing area complete with a Mt Fuji mural. Tourists will appreciate the souvenir shop on the premises, but drunks just looking for a bed will balk at the prices – walk-in rates start from a whopping ¥7,700.
