A little tricky to find, this charming Japanese-style hotel manages to take an ugly modern Tokyo building and imbue it with something quintessentially Japanese; in this case a small pond, which you need to cross to get to the foyer. It’s a pleasant enough place to stay, with good facilities and a high level of service, although non-Japanese speakers may find it hard to make themselves understood. The first floor contains a communal bath, although all rooms are equipped with their own bathrooms.
