Time Out says

If you love nifty well-designed spaces, The OneFive Tokyo is the perfect hotel for you. Formerly known as the Hotel Emit Shibuya, this revamped inn is more spacious than a capsule hotel and more private than a hostel for travellers who want to be right in the middle of the city without breaking the bank for accommodation.

Located on the corner of the Kitaya Park complex, the hotel is an eight-minute walk from Shibuya Station and mere footsteps away from jiggly pancake cafés, coffee shops and top-ranking cocktail bars like The SG Club

Though the single rooms (from roughly ¥11,760 per night) are just 9sqm in size, the layouts of retro leather furniture paired with either muted green tatami mats or hardwood floors demonstrate that even the smallest of nooks can be warm and inviting. There are also double rooms (from roughly ¥22,000 per night) that are 13sqm big for those travelling with a companion, some of which come with a private balcony overlooking the surrounding neighbourhood.

Need a bigger table for remote work? The hotel lobby and second-floor cafe double as coworking spaces for digital nomads, so you won’t have to worry about hunting down an open seat at Starbucks.
