Sanrio Thanks Party 2016

Opened way back in December 1990, the uber-cutesy Sanrio Puroland theme park is celebrating its birthday by offering free entry to everyone. Yup: you can spend the day hanging out with Hello Kitty and pals and pay absolutely nothing for the privilege. From 9am on the day, gate staff will be issuing entry tickets on a first-come, first-served basis, but note that they'll stop if the place gets too crowded. Look out for special performances throughout the day, plus appearances by the Sanrio all-stars – from Gudetama and Pompompurin to Ms Kitty herself.
