Started back in 1992, Tokyo's pioneering LGBT film fest reaches its 20th edition this year. The lineup features a number of Asian premieres, including Casper Andreas' Going Down in LA-LA Land and Sabine Bernardi's Romeos, as well as Japanese premieres of Gregg Araki's raunchy Kaboom and We Were Here, David Weissman's documentary about the AIDS outbreak in 1980s San Francisco. While the event was split between venues in Shinjuku and Omotesando last year, it's being wisely confined to Spiral Hall this time around, where there'll also be a 'soiree' on the Sunday night, featuring performers and DJs.
