Tokyo’s hotel pools are usually relatively quiet, where guests can relax on deck chairs and contemplate their itinerary for the evening – but that’s not the atmosphere you’ll find at Hilton Tokyo Bay this weekend. On Saturday September 3, the hotel is hosting gay dance party Vita for a rowdy poolside barbecue with a lineup of DJs and male go-go dancers.
General admission is priced from ¥7,000, but you can also purchase a barbecue package for ¥10,000 if you plan on dining by the pool. The party is held in collaboration with the LGBTQ social networking platform Jack’d. So if you download the app on your phone while you're there, you might be served something off the barbecue grill from your favourite go-go dancer.
