Time Out says

Barbie is the most famous fashion doll in the world, her sales having reached around 100 billion since her debut in 1959. At the time Barbie went on sale, most dolls took the shape of babies, so when Barbie appeared, with her feminine proportions and sophisticated clothes and shoes, the world was charmed. 300 dolls from throughout the 50-year history of Barbie are on display, including those from the vintage era (1959-66), mod era (1967-76) and superstar era (1977-), as well as Barbie collaborations with famous designers like Dior and Armani. Special Barbie goods created for this exhibition will also be in sale, including t-shirts, tote bags, plastic folders and mugs, as well as the Japan-first set of three Christian Louboutin Barbies (limited to 100 sets).
