To commemorate the 150 years of baseball in Japan, the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Tokyo is hosting an extensive exhibition divided into three chronological parts. The current third and last part of the exhibition highlights Japan’s baseball history between 1989 and 2022. You can see trophies, uniform of Japan’s top baseball players, photographs and more.
The highlight, however, is the display of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic gold medal of Hayato Sakamoto, a member of the Yomiuri Giants as well as Japan’s national baseball team.
The exhibition runs until September 25, but the gold medal is only on display until August 31.
