Tutankhamun's gold mask and over 50 other artifacts taken from the Egyptian king's tomb are on display in this touring exhibition, a blockbuster in every city it's visited since starting in Switzerland in 2004. Not surprisingly, its performance in Tokyo hasn't disappointed: Golden Age of the Pharaohs is already the second most-visited exhibition that the Japan has ever seen. The record holder, in case you're wondering, was a 1965 exhibition featuring... Tutankhamun. If you haven't been yet, there's actually still time: though it was originally due to finish in early December, the exhibition has had its run extended until January 20.
