99 Flags

Pack your warm jacket – the air is sure to be crisp up in the mountains of Nagano by the time this three-day festival dedicated to electronic tunes rolls around in October. Taking place in the majestic surrounds of the Japanese Southern Alps, 99 Flags rounds out the outdoor music season with techno, house, ambient and more, courtesy of Berliner and one-time Yellow regular Katsuya Sano and Tokyo scene star DJ Shibata, while spinners like Ko Umehara and DJ Bin will also be taking the finely tuned Funktion One sound system for a spin. Drinks will be provided by the folks behind Harajuku's Bonobo, who are taking their show – and booze – on the road for the entire long weekend.
