Time Out says

Pity Darren Jessee and Robert Sledge. They had a good run, but the former drummer and bassist for '90s piano rock trio Ben Folds Five haven't managed to achieve the same success as the group's frontman managed in his solo capacity. Folds was last here for Fuji Rock Festival in 2008, but this is his first proper tour of Japan for six years. And, oh, he's got some memories – not least the time he fell off the stage at the start of a gig in Hiroshima and cut his head open. He even wrote a song about that one. On last year's Lonely Avenue, Folds drafted in the lyrical talents of Nick Hornby, although he could quite easily have passed off the British novelist's wryly comic contributions for his own.
