Bloodaxe Festival 2011

Well, this should feel like a kick in the face. There'll be nearly a dozen bands stoking the moshpit during this year's Bloodaxe Festival, with the local acts joined by a sizable overseas contingent including Californian deathcore darlings Winds of Plague, Michigan melodic hardcore quintet For the Fallen Dreams, and Cali hardcore/metal bludgeoners Xibalba. On the domestic front, Loyal to the Grave promise to be particularly pummeling – but then, you could say that about most of these bands.
