Borderless: Kan Sano, Iri, Paellas

Tokyo label Origami Productions is the force behind this new regular night at Daikanyama's Loop. The inaugural Borderless party will see appearances from keyboardist and producer Kan Sano, up-and-coming singer-songwriter Iri and local quintet Paellas, who peddle a smooth, very polished but occasionally intriguing mixture of R&B vibes, synth symphonies and British-style house. In a very generous gesture to the city's non-Japanese population, entrance is free for anyone carrying a resident card or a foreign passport.
