The Grammy-winner crooner of 'Just the Way You Are' fame has a new pick-up line on sophomore album Unorthodox Jukebox: on the Prince-goes-stadium-rock 'Gorilla', he dangles the bizarre prospect of 'you and me baby, making love like gorillas'. What on earth happened to nice little Bruno Mars? Actually, that track is far and away the most surprising moment on a record that largely plays to Mars' strength for aping other artists, whether he's mimicking The Police on 'Locked Out of Heaven' or channeling Michael Jackson on 'Natalie'. It's all very '80s-sounding, all infuriatingly catchy and guaranteed to sell by the truckload. The Hawaiian-born singer heads to Tokyo in January for a one-night-only date, tickets for which go on sale on December 22.
