Three of Shimokitazawa's key music venues will be taking part in this afternoon music fest, which distinguishes itself from the bigger Shimokitazawa Indie Fanclub event by having an almost total absence of well-known acts. The lineup ranges from Manga Shock's trashy rock antics to How To Count One To Ten's warm, accesible math-rock, while fans of winsome, female-fronted indie pop can get their fix from the likes of Roi-Jypsy and Fanceep. The ¥3,000 ticket fee includes entry to all of the venues plus three drink tickets, and if you stop by at Disk Union during the day, Manga Shock's vocalist will be offering a running commentary on the different bands. See the official website for a complete timetable.
