Contrarede presents '4AD evening'

4AD, one of the most original and radical independent record labels in the history of the British music scene, is planning a live event to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its foundation. Playing will be the two biggest bands currently signed to 4AD: Deerhunter, who just released their new album in September, and Blonde Redhead. Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti, who many are saying have released the album of the year, are also set to appear. Tower Records is currently running a ‘4AD Campaign.’ If you buy any of 30 selected albums, which include recent as well as classic releases, you can receive a 4AD sticker, and if you purchase two CDs you will receive the limited edition ‘4AD Sampler CD,’ with a selection of tracks from 4AD’s artists, including those mentioned above (as long as stock lasts).
