Step back into the heyday of the ’70s and ’80s at this open-air disco taking over the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse this summer. Set against the waterfront, the dance floor will come alive with soul, disco, funk and techno spun by some of Japan’s top DJs, including DJ Nori, Muro of Captain Vinyl, Drunken Kong, DJ Hasebe and Grooveman Spot.
Complete with neon lighting, mirror balls and lasers, the venue recreates the atmosphere of a classic disco under the open sky. To make the event as accessible as possible, admission is free on select days. On dates featuring special DJ performances, entry ranges from ¥1,000 to ¥3,800, so be sure to check the official schedule before heading over.
