Lose yourself in music at Time Out Café & Diner on the evening of Saturday September 13, when this new and unabashedly music-focused showcase of alternative tunes takes over our very own Ebisu hideout as well as the Kata gallery next door.
Acoustic aficionados – well, any and all friends of music played live – will want to camp out at Kata, where a dynamic foursome of indie artists will be playing a seamless succession of sets. In addition to a rare solo guitar performance by Takuro Okada, you can look forward to improv-tinged piano tunes courtesy of Natsumi Takano, minimal chamber music by the Torso duo and jazz-adjacent grooves in the spirit of Sam Wilkes by Mood Collective.
Over at Time Out Café & Diner, expect extended DJ sets by local ever-present Moodman and underground favourite Shhhhh, whose signature fusion of dance and folk is always worth catching. The visuals across both spaces will be provided by contemporary artists Tomoko Takemasa and Haruka Ohta, along with Waseda University smell scholar Mei.
