Two years after she had to cancel a planned Tokyo show on doctor's orders, British singer Florence Welch is finally making her live debut here, in a one-night-only appearance that's sure to sell out in a jiffy. The gig comes a week after the domestic release of sophomore album Ceremonials, a record that makes even Kate Bush's most epically windswept moments sound understated. But even the enormity of the record pales in comparison to the experience of hearing Ms Welch belt these songs out live – not for nothing has she been booked to headline a string of major music festivals this summer.
