Time Out says

This edition of the live music event, Flows, is set to light up Ebisu’s Garden Hall on December 30, commemorating the upcoming 50th anniversary of the late legendary Japanese DJ and producer Nujabes. As an honour to his enduring legacy, the night features the Nujabes Metaphorical Ensemble, a project born from the unfinished concepts of Nujabes at Hydeout Productions.

Spiritual dance music artist Joe Claussell, whom Nujabes greatly admired in his lifetime, will also participate in this musical ritual. Claussel is known for revitalising Nujabes' unreleased track 'Child's Attraction', which was circulated as a limited 12-inch edition in 2016. This track remains a shining example of his masterpieces. Claussell's music, deeply in sync with Nujabes's style, exemplifies a fusion of beauty and spiritual depth.

Adding to the eclectic mix are Captain Vinyl, a project by DJs Nori and Muro known for their wide-ranging music selection, and Green Assassin Dollar, a notable producer and DJ from Sagamihara. Dazzle Drums, a duo famed for their house and dance classics, and DJ Koco AKA Shimokita, a master of 45's DJ sets, also grace the lineup.

Collectively, these artists represent the essence of Nujabes's influence across genres. You can therefore expect an evening that's not just a concert but a journey through the realms of soulful, innovative music.

Tickets are available for booking via Zaiko. See the event's Instagram and X (Twitter) accounts for more information.
