Time Out says

There's a fair chunk of the Tokyo indie underground that owes its entire existence to Gang of Four, the influential Leeds post-punk quartet who packaged fiercely political lyrics inside dubby, danceable jams. Best remembered for 1979 debut Entertainment! and its 1981 follow-up, Solid Gold, the group managed to pre-empt the current mania for band reformations when they reunited in 2004 and managed not to tarnish their legacy. Mind you, with Dave Allen, Hugo Burnham and vocalist Jon King since departed, guitarist Andy Gill is now the only founder member still remaining. Six years after their last Tokyo gig, they're now back in the capital for this double bill, during which they'll be playing all their classics.
