Time Out says

Japan's premier world music festival is held not in Tokyo, but the unlikely setting of Nanto City, Toyama, which since 1991 has provided a home to Sukiyaki Meets The World. There's no need to feel left out, though: organisers of the event have been nice enough to bring a few of the headliners to the capital over the past few years. Last year, that included Amazigh Kateb, the Algerian-born musician best known for his work with crossover act Gnawa Diffusion, a group last seen in 2007. With his old band back together again, Kateb will be returning to school Tokyo audiences in the art of Saharan dub – and get a few lessons from local didgeridoo master Goma and his hip-shaking Jungle Rhythm Section.
