Gocoo + Goro

At the time of writing, it's looking like this weekend's Earth Day festivities are going to be a soggy affair (consider it warped humour on Mother Nature's part). You can get your fix of earthiness a day early, though – and under cover – at Gocoo's 'Earth Day Live 2011'. Among Japan's many taiko groups, this female-fronted ensemble has been perhaps the most successful at wooing club audiences (they've played at Ageha countless times), and their overseas touring schedule is almost as packed as Kodo's. For their latest gig, they're joined by regular co-conspirator and didgeridoo master Goro, who's practically an honorary member of the group now.
