Godspeed You! Black Emperor

These doomy Canadian post-rockers were practically the soundtrack of the No Logo generation, but when their apocalypse never came, Godspeed You! Black Emperor retreated back into the shadows. Following an unexpected return to the live circuit in 2010 (including an appearance at Tokyo's I'll Be Your Mirror fest the following year), the group went on to deliver an impressive new album, 'Allelujah! Don't Bend! Ascend!, last October.
