As with so many recent events, Yokohama's surf-themed music and art fest has had to contend with some high-profile cancellations, including star attractions Donavon Frankenreiter, War and 311. Thankfully, surfer-songwriter Hayley Sales is still on board (no pun intended), and they've managed to make up numbers with a strong local showing, including a one-off 'Love for Nippon' jam session at the close of the second day. This year's Greenroom spreads the musical action across five stages, interspersed with art exhibitions, film screenings and a few yoga sessions. Yes, it's that kind of gig. Don't expect anything abrasive from the assembled musicians, who include established festival faves such as Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, Ego-Wrappin', Special Others and Little Tempo.
