It is not every day that a young man just appears out of nowhere to influence and change an entire music scene. However, that is exactly what NYC-based Dan Griffith has done to American electronic music. After a childhood devoted to classical piano and his formative years spent playing in various bands, Griffith began his shift into electronic and dance music during his years studying at the University of Southern California. His varied musical journey has contributed to an eclectic style as the producer Gryffin, combining house and instrumental elements with dance beats to attract a global audience.
