Consisting of Gemma Barkerwood, Sophie Barkerwood and Louise Croft, English trio Haiku Salut make fidgety, experimental dream-folk-pop from layers of acoustic and electronic instrumentation. It's tricky to pin down, but would be the perfect soundtrack for a grainy 1970s home video of a sunny day at the beach. Also drawing on Haruki Murakami for influences, they released sophomore album Etch and Etch Deep last year to a very positive reception, and now hit Shibuya's O-Nest together with Tokyo's own Merry Christmas, post-rockers RiLF and chameleon-like electronica outfit Oversleep Excuse.
