Jake Bugg

This retro-tinged but refreshing teen singer-songwriter burst from his hometown of Nottingham to the top of the UK charts in 2012. Jake Bugg's brand of indie country-folk adopts a Dylan-esque rasp, but is pitched a little higher and has a necessarily younger lilt. Fans of Johnny Cash and Miles Kane will approve equally. Already due to appear at Summer Sonic 2013 in August, Bugg will be heading here during Golden Week to play an acoustic showcase at Club Quattro. Tickets go on sale on April 6.
