Founder of the Faitiche label, German chameleon Jan Jelinek has to be one of the most compelling artists working in the realm of electronic music today. Having debuted back in 2001 with the mind-bending Loop-Finding-Jazz-Records, a mixture of click-pop-bumps that drew heavily on jazz samples and was hailed as an instant classic, the Berliner has explored genres such as minimal techno, micro house and ambient ever since, also operating under the monikers Farben and The Exposures. The tireless experimentalist is in the midst of a six-date Japan tour and now hits Tokyo and Anyo-in temple up in Itabashi for what's sure to be a show to remember.
