Time Out says

Intro is narrow and cramped, even by Tokyo standards where almost every bar is small and ‘intimate’. A basement jazz bar just minutes from Takadanobaba Station on busy Waseda-dori, Intro is a perfect neighbourhood hangout that always welcomes newcomers. There is live music three to four nights a week, but it’s more of a casual ‘drop in and play’ affair than a polished gig experience. This adds to the charm though and anyone from students to famous professionals can be found there jamming on any given night. Keep an eye out for the sax player Inoue-san; he’ll take a solo or two and then run over to serve customers before jumping back into the band; he’s also happy to spin your selection of the vinyl on the shelf behind the bar. Just note that some people may find Intro a little claustrophobic.
