Time Out says

Self-described 'jazz punk' septet Katteni-Shiyagare hark back to a past that probably never existed, one that's equal parts Godard, Lupin III and late-night jazz dens. Like Osaka duo Ego-Wrappin', with whom they collaborated on last year's 'Vermouth Flowers' single, the group prefer to serve their jazz wedded to a solid rock backbeat, courtesy of singing drummer Syohei Muto. Hot on the release of Silver & Gold: Gold, a two-disc compilation commemorating their 15th anniversary, the group are hitting Unit for a celebratory gig alongside two like-minded travellers: club jazz supremos Soil & "Pimp" Sessions and the more folky Overground Acoustic Underground.
