Kill the Rave

A trailblazing electronic composer and improviser whose works mix eloquence, economy and wit, Carl Stone can always be counted on to serve up something special. Fans of digital music are in for a real treat on Sunday evening at Ochiai's Soup, where Stone is set to be joined by fellow experimentalist Gil Kuno, Hong Kong's improviser extraordinaire Nerve and Tokyo noise stalwart Painjerk for a wild bonanza of decidedly challenging tunes. Designer and VJ Yosuke Fuyama will be on hand to provide some appropriately mind-bending visuals.
