Time Out says

Music-makers don't come much more ambitious than Kiyohiko Semba. Born into a family of traditional Japanese musicians, he started playing percussion at the age of three, and first graced a professional kabuki stage when he was just ten. Though he's kept one foot in that world, Semba has since branched off into a wide variety of other genres, including sprawling orchestras such as Haniwa All Stars and, more recently, Karugamozu. This end-of-year show will see him take charge of over 20 percussionists and a variety of other musicians, including a few former Kodo members, and it promises to be nothing less than spectacular.
