Travelling freely on the outer edges of ambient, grime and techno, London-based duo Patten delivered a real coup back in 2011 with the magnificent GLAQJO XAACSSO album – a beautifully scuffed and gleefully abrasive head record that both Flying Lotus and Kevin Shields would have been proud of. The Kaleidoscope label headmen have been refining and reinventing their sound ever since, and now take on Circus with one of their sci-fi-influenced 'live AV' shows. Composed of a full custom video system, lasers, LEDs, smoke machines, live electronic drums and digitally processed vocals, it should be quite the spectacle. Copenhagen collective Den Sorte Skole and Tokyo's own Sapphire Slows will also be along for the ride.
